Last week I decided to pull a huge Sinfonia game making rush, and I ended up working 13 hours in total and I drank down half of an energy drink bottle, and learned very soon caffeine and I are not in very good terms with each other.
Most of my work ended up being really non-visible: I spent hours looking for music and arranging my tracks and putting them in the game, finding and editing backgrounds and adding sprites into the game and fixing already existing ones. So, right now, the demo's process is something like this:
Writing - 100%
Sprites - 6/7 done
Backgrounds - 70%
Overall game layout - 65%
Music - 60%
However, it's good to notice this list should also include sound effects and actually putting all this material into the game, as neither of those things are exactly easy to work around with when you're only one person trying to do all the work!
Here is a new sneak peek though, although this scene in itself isn't in the game: it's literally just a joke screen inspired by those incorrect quote -blogs on tumblr. It's still very IC though, haha.
I'm probably going to pull another one of those 13 working hours -stunts again too in the future: I really prefer big working days instead of doing a little each day.
