Fyren
Fyren is a demigod of Taros that was tasked to write down the story of the continent until the continent of "Taros" has no meaning anymore. Fyren is ranked below Miras, Temus and The Third but is higher than the lesser gods of Taros, meaning Fyren has a rank on their own. Fyren is a demi-immortal being who travels around Taros and occasionally visits the churches of Miras. Fyren is loosely affiliated with Noë and Philip. Despite their form of a child, Fyren has a very mature aura around them that people almost, if not always, acknowledge as superior to theirs.
AppearancePhysically Fyren resembles a small child, standing only 134cm tall and with no features pointing they would be any older than 11. Fyren has a seemingly delicate build with light bones and narrow body of ambiguous gender. Fyren's skin texture resembles a doll. Their nose is very small and their eyes are big (as is very common for children who have not hit their puberty yet). Fyren's hair is dark caramel brown, somewhat messy and has a long braid reaching Fyren's lower back. Fyren's eyes are most commonly illustrated as blue but if using too much power, Fyren's eyes turn bright red, revealing their demi-divine nature.
It's worth noticing that despite Fyren's powers, they're still physically just a child and can be physically hurt just like any mortal child. However, Fyren can regenerate and has considerably higher stamina as a result of being demi-divine. Fyren is often seen wearing clothes the most suitable for travelling wherever they happen to be. Fyren can usually easily blend in with the people of Taros (aside from the most eastern places) and thus is often seen wearing clothes of different tribes and groups (Fyren's nationality is the entire Taros). Fyren is also often seen wearing different church clothes, either actual clothes related to the churches of Miras or just generally clothes with the church aesthetic in mind. |

Personality
The thing most, if not all, people notice when meeting Fyren the first time is the overwhelming aura they have. While physically a child, anyone who has even as much as exchanged a few words with them can tell Fyren is not actually a child: their maturity surpasses humans and the calmness, contradicting their childish looks is overwhelming.
Fyren is not the one to (actively) get into a trouble and prefers staying on a neutral line, interrupting only if the outcome is disadvantageous to everyone involved. They don’t care much about their own well being, most likely because Fyren can’t be killed by mortals. They can be hurt and torn apart, but Fyren will eventually regenerate again.
They’re very polite and respectful and Fyren’s entire being emits authority so strong mortals feel it’s perfectly, completely natural to respect them. Although they’re very calm and adult-like in manners it doesn’t mean Fyren wouldn’t know anything of fun. Sometimes on their travels Fyren gets really into their child act and might play around with other kids or alternatively gets into some sort of mischief with someone who is clearly up to it. Fyren is more of an enabler than active doer due to their status as a divine being, but Fyren thinks it’s just healthy to do a little mischief once in awhile. Despite these traits anyone can still feel Fyren is extremely powerful, intelligent and wise.
Fyren is secretive and usually answers in a way that people can’t really take yes or no from there. They often also speak in riddles and metaphors. Fyren usually doesn’t bother to pretend being a child in terms of speaking mannerisms and only does it if it really comes down to that.
Due the fact one of Fyren’s main tasks is to keep track of what happens on Taros, Fyren is very determined to talk to as many people as possible and learn from them. Because they have all the time needed and immortality on their hands, Fyren is not afraid to talk to anyone. In fact, in order to understand Taros and its people even better, they try to talk to as many different people from different positions as possible. Thanks to this, Fyren is very good with people and their own cooperativeness makes it easier for others to tell Fyren their stories.
As a divine being, there is not much room for imperfection for Fyren. However, Fyren does have a little more unpleasant side, even if it doesn’t appear in front of others. Fyren can feel all human emotions from happiness to bitterness and fear, and while this usually doesn’t affect them much, it can sometimes lead Fyren to selfish actions. While Fyren can’t feel fear for their own life, they will sometimes step out of their place and try to save people they really like and this action doesn’t cause doom to Taros. Fyren can also feel loneliness and jealousy, both of which often surface when thinking of other gods. Fyren, even after all this time, still feels a little left out and alone because of their peculiar existence. They also feel small jealousy towards all those lesser gods who are recognized, because Fyren is above them yet completely unknown.

Past
Fyren was created by the main gods, Miras, Temus and the Third. Higher than the lesser gods but just a little lower than the main gods, Fyren is a wild card with no place to truly belong in their divinity. Their job is just as lonely, as Fyren is the spirit of the continent of Taros, all of its countries and those who live there.
Instead of being a protector per se, Fyren’s job is to record the story of Taros. Fyren carries a leather cover book with them at all times and this book is where they record the chronological story of Taros. Despite the book’s size, it won’t be full until the full story of Taros has been told and thus it looks like inside the book the amount of pages is actually infinite. The book can’t be opened by mortals and thus only lesser gods, main gods and Fyren can read it.
What their job means in practice: Fyren roams around Taros, talks to people and memorizes and writes down things regarding what is currently going on. Although Fyren, even as a divine being, can’t write down each living creature’s individual experience of Taros, they still aim to talk to as many beings as possible. This provides Fyren with information they need for their travelling in order to be in the right place at the right time. Fyren also personally feels they have to talk to as many as possible so their stories, even if not recorded, would not be forgotten.
As a spirit of Taros, Fyren is also able to see the end of Taros, and ultimate the end of their life too as Fyren’s life is directly tied to the continent of Taros. When Taros stops being what we known as “Taros” right now, Fyren will die and a new divine being will take Fyren’s job. Knowing this more than well, Fyren is perfectly prepared to die.
Even so, if Fyren feels like the end of Taros is not satisfying and it will cause massive damage, they will make sure to change the fate. Because Taros is Fyren’s responsibility in a sense, Fyren is also responsible of making sure Taros won’t cause trouble to anyone else.
Fyren has been to everywhere in Taros and they continue roaming around until Taros is no more. This means Fyren has been through a lot and seen even more, many of these things eventually written on the book of Taros.
Once in awhile, in order to prevent a terrible end of Taros, Fyren has conducted rulers and those in positions of power, giving them the information needed to keep Taros safe. While the information of a mysterious, wise child was never truly leaked in public or discussed about, royal families, those who have been visited by Fyren, usually pass the knowledge to their children. Because Fyren has not done that since the war between angels and demons of Taros, their help is considered fairy tale by now.
Fyren also frequently visits the churches of Miras. This is because church is the only place where Fyren can contact the goddess Miras and talk with her. Churches also, more or less secretly, are tasked to record what happens in their country and town and Fyren, whenever visiting, takes their time to read all the recordings and then takes the most crucial and important parts into their own book. Only a couple of head priests around Taros know of Fyren and their true self, but each church’s head priest also knows something of Fyren in order to know Fyren is a special guest to the church.
Students and others know nothing of Fyren and the only way to ever learn is to stay in the church until they are old. Chances are you will meet Fyren twice in your life if you have spent your life in church, and only then you will understand something extremely important is going on.

Powers
Regeneration/Recovery - While Fyren can’t be killed by mortals, their human body is just as strong and enduring as a typical 11-year-old’s body would be. Fyren can be damaged like a human, but even if torn apart, Fyren will soon regenerate back to normal. Wounds and the like usually just slowly fade away as if they were healed but torn limbs and the like will just soon disappear and appear back on their body.
Magic - Fyren is able to use all natural elements of Taros (earth, wind, water and fire) but can’t use divine elements (light and dark). Because Fyren’s body is as weak as it looks, they need to use magic to stay out of harm's way and also to change the fate of Taros if absolutely needed. While Fyren is a master of these elements, they rarely need to use them.
Demi-divine - Fyren is not a flashy divine being and while they don’t actively try to hide the fact they are not a child, it would be bad for Fyren to draw attention through clear signs of immortality (such as no damage). For this reason the main gods gave Fyren a form similar to mortals to use. Fyren’s physical body has almost all the limitations of a human such as the need to drink and eat, but neglecting these will not kill Fyren and the damage done by neglecting their human form is soon healed. If anything, it’s just to make sure Fyren will blend a little better among humans.
Divinity - In their true form, Fyren is a divine being who dies only when Taros dies or if a non-mortal kills them. To highlight the oddity of Fyren’s existence between the main gods and lesser gods, Fyren’s true form is not physical. Instead, they appear as a dragon-like being made of bright light tinted in light blue.
Restrictions - Even if Fyren is above mortals, or maybe precisely because of this, they have restrictions. Currently Fyren’s restrictions are the following:

- Not allowed to harm anyone who is not directly tied to the unfavourable end of Taros
- Not allowed to directly kill mortals no matter the circumstances. Fyren’s magic is strong enough to get any job done without killing. Fyren can harm only those who are directly targeting them either physically or have stolen the book that belongs to Fyren.
(Due to this restriction, Fyren often relies on other people to do the killing instead) - Not allowed to tell anyone outside church of their real identity, and only the head priests are allowed to know.
